About the Lions Club
What are Lions Clubs all about?
Lions SERVE. It’s that simple, and it has been since we first began in 1917. Our clubs are places where individuals join together to give their valuable time and effort to improving their communities and the world. Lions Clubs is the largest service organization in the world, serving in over 200 countries with 47K clubs and 1.4 million members, all focused on 5 Global Causes: Hunger, Vision, Diabetes, Childhood Cancer, the Environment, and most importantly, the needs of each club’s own community.

Why volunteer?
It’s not just about providing food to hungry ball players and families… Roaring Run Lions Club's (RRLC) motto is “to SERVE”. Roaring Run Park is a Community Park for families to come together, cheer on their players, and enjoy time together in a safe and beautiful space. We offer all people the opportunity to learn the joys of service with Lions and beyond.
