USA Baseball Mobile Coach - The USA Baseball Mobile Coach is a revolutionary tool that aims to simplify practice planning for baseball coaches at all levels. The app, which is free to all users, features the ability for baseball coaches at all levels to plan practices using drills supplied in the application through the practice planning function. The app also includes information related to Pitch Smart, including guidelines, resources, and pitch counting features. Additional tools and resources are also included, and more features will be added over time.
MOJO App - MOJO has been a resource for Soccer, Football, and Basketball coaches and will be soon expanding to Baseball/Softball. The app allows you to select the length of your practice, the skill level of your team, and the skills you want to work on. It will help you build a practice plan. Baseball\Softball is expected to launch in February 2022.
Considerations for your pitchers:
Little arms can be deceivingly delicate. For our minor league 9/10 rec players, we allow only 50 pitches per game, and in majors 11/12 rec ball we allow a maximum of 75 per game and per day. 13/14yo rec players are limited to 85 pitches per day. In other situations, we follow the standard high school pitching guidelines provided by MPSSAA. Please keep in mind that for every pitch thrown, a catcher makes an equivalent throw. The following rest procedures must be followed for healthy players
Pitches | Days Rest |
---|---|
1 - 20 | 0 Days |
21 - 35 | 1 Day |
36 - 50 | 2 Days |
51 - 65 | 3 Days |
66+ | 4 Days |
